Saif emerged as the top Malaysian entry in the competition. A testament to the tremendous hard work from both Saif and Head Coach Andrew Mok.
Saif finished 149th out of 212 world-class fencers, becoming the 2nd youngest fencer to qualify for the Table of 128 in this open-age event.
Saif put up a solid fight in both the individual and team events.
In the (U20) Junior Men’s Foil Individual, he qualified for the elimination rounds and finished 119th out of 161. A commendable result for a 14-year-old on the global stage.
Jackson, 8 years old fencer from China, dedicated two weeks of his summer break to mastering the art of fencing with the fencing master, Coach Mok!
