At just 15, Saif Nordin proved age is just a number. The youngest in the squad, yet competitive beyond his years, Saif played a crucial role in helping Malaysia secure the Silver Medal in the Men’s Team Foil, Thailand. His fighting spirit stood tall against seasoned opponents in the open age category!

Team Touché shone on the podium with an impressive haul of 9 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals, earning the title of Overall Champion.
Congratulations to Saif Nordin for winning Bronze in the Senior Men’s Foil Individual at the 14th Malaysia Open Fencing Championships 2025. Saif is the youngest podium medalist for this event!
Congratulations to Saif and Team Malaysia for winning Bronze in the Cadet Team Men’s Foil.
Overall, Saif fought well against regional peers and also secured a 13th place (top Malaysian entry) out of 41 in the Individual Men’s Foil.
Saif emerged as the top Malaysian entry in the competition. A testament to the tremendous hard work from both Saif and Head Coach Andrew Mok.
Saif finished 149th out of 212 world-class fencers, becoming the 2nd youngest fencer to qualify for the Table of 128 in this open-age event.
Saif put up a solid fight in both the individual and team events.
In the (U20) Junior Men’s Foil Individual, he qualified for the elimination rounds and finished 119th out of 161. A commendable result for a 14-year-old on the global stage.
At only 14 years old, Saif Nordin (led by Head Coach Andrew Mok) continues to impress, finishing as the top Malaysian entry. Saif also recently won gold 🥇 in the U15 Boy’s Foil at the 2025 Subang Parade Fencing Challenge 🇲🇾.
