Mok has represented Malaysia on the international stage multiple times – and his first instructor was none other than Ronnie Ignatius Theseira, a Malaysian Olympian.

History

Founded in 1992, by Mr. Mok Chek Wlong, a former international medalists fencer who has represented Malaysia for decades. Mr. Mok Chek Wlong started fencing at the age of 13 in St. David’s High School, Malacca. 

His first fencing master, Professor Ronnie Ignatius Theseira who is the founder of Malaysian Fencing Federation (MFF) in 1958, holds the Diploma of Fencing Masters of the Academie d’ Armes Internationale (AAI) Germany and Malaysian Academies. 

Under the tutelage of Professor Ronnie, Mr. Mok Chek Wlong has emerged as national champion numerous times in Foil, Epee and Sabre. He was also a key member of the 1989 SEA Games, Kuala Lumpur where Malaysia achieved the best result in fencing history at the South-East-Asia level. A total of 1 Gold, 2 Silvers and 5 Bronzes were brought home. Mr. Mok subsequently learnt from various fencing masters from France, Korea and Australia. Currently, he is the Director of Coaching at Touche Fencing Club.
